From The Guestbook

“We made plans to visit Nevis due to it being a more “off the grid” tourist attraction and it worked. Started each day with a dip in the pool and ended it the same way! Watched the sunrise out of the Atlantic each morning and watched it set behind Nevis Peak or drove to Caribbean side (Pinney’s Beach) for the sunset. Donkeys and monkeys made me LOL!  In summation, Nevis and especially the Vervain Mill met AND exceeded our expectations!”

“Honeymoon Dream.  What a beautiful romantic place! Vervain Mill has been a complete dream and gift to us as we started our married life here! The peaceful sounds, history, lighting, grounds! EVERYTHING! Coffee and breakfast in the gazebo in the mornings and candle/moonlit dinners and swims! ROMANTIC THROUGH and THROUGH. Nevis has forever captured our hearts and we will always treasure our memories from Vervain in our hearts! We are so thankful for this lovely place!”

“Thank you for a wonderful, superb, divine, unique experience. We love you for all the happiness you brought us these too-short 8 days! And memories we’ll have forever. We will come back to paradise.”

“About a year ago or so my husband said he found the perfect place for our winter vacation. It kept it a secret all year long and I didn’t know where I was going until the cab driver opened the door. My mouth was probably agape as I looked around this fantastic place. My husband was right – he found the perfect place. I love old buildings, old furnishings, palm trees, warm weather and critters. We had everything we wanted here and we enjoyed the house, the pool, the landscaping and the location. The people who worked here were very nice about coming in, completing their task and leaving. Thank you for a lovely vacation.”

“We have been on this lovely island for 2 weeks and are sad to be leaving tomorrow, particularly as we have not seen the monkeys! YET! Suddenly, they were (21 I think) keeping us entertained for 2 hours with their antics. We love this side of the island best. The views are amazing and the local animals charming. Thank you for sharing your lovely house (and binoculars)!”
